Managing A Tight Timeline and Complicated Soil Structures for a Successful Stadium Renovation
Identified in the 2016 GFPS School Bond, Memorial Stadium underwent a major renovation during the summer of 2017. Design and construction were completed in just 5 months, with the facility ready for use in September that year. The field sits on a major over excavation due to extremely expansive soils in the area, necessitating a state-of-the-art drainage system. Since opening, the District has hosted numerous Shrine Games, as well as state level track and field competitions on the new 10 lane track. Hulteng CCM’s experience in project procurement methodology was critical to achieving a successful outcome on an extremely tight timeline.
